The School Farm Project, an initiative of the Yakubu Gowon Foundation is aimed at enhancing socio economic benefit of agriculture. The Foundation’s primary target is to take the minds of school children off white collar jobs through the establishment of school farms and school farm clubs in some selected secondary schools within Plateau State.


It is expected that the students will have a practical knowledge of agriculture and at the end of the project inculcate the love of farming. Two schools have been selected for the pilot project namely: Bethany Christian Academy, Barkin-Ladi and Redeemed People’s Academy, Farin-gada, Jos.
